No they are planted trees.
I plan on using them to gravity feed.
I plan on putting trees in a line, the trees will be in tubes attached to T posts. The other side of the t posts will be an electric fence wire or two. I plan on running water line along the fence.
I did this...the tot fits in the back of the pickup. Great for establishing the fruit trees, but a water bladder is easier to store and can be used with a side by side. I now us a bladder.
For those looking for an alternative to the Tote, here is the link to the water bladder. They are cost effective and come in a variety of sizes for truck or SxS. At 8#/gallon, the tote is pretty heavy when filled....just saying. Is this tote going in the back of a truck or ranger?
We have a dozen apple trees we are watering with this system. I also use a dozen 5 gallon cat litter buckets with drip holes in the lids for some bare root pine trees planted last year. Sadly, the critters ate the trees over winter…time to put up cages for round two. This water system worked well for the blue spruce we planted in year one (2017). The bladder fits in the back of the side by side (not well, but we can fill it to 70% capacity, which is also my weight limit). It is ideal for the soft mast trees we planted for wildlife on the back side of our property. How many trees are you watering
