Cotton
Yearling... With promise
My hunting land is in NW MN, Detroit Lakes area. The woods are mostly hardwoods with a few pine and spruce. A relatively small bush that has very soft wood and is extremely flexible is found here and there in the hardwoods. It drops it leaves in the fall but holds onto them quite late and leafs out early in the spring. It may top out at 4' or so in height. Nothing seems to browse on this bush. Just curious what this is. I can't find it in any tree field guides. Still waiting for warm temperatures and an end to very dry conditions here. Hope all is well for you folks!
