Not trail cam but first fawn pic.

Cool!

I have had a couple close run ins with new born fawns. Scared the hell out of me when I realized how close I was to them and could have squashed them.

Yea I hear ya on the scared the crap out of ya, I was only about 6" from stepping on him, have to watch better.

We wait as long as we can before cutting first crop hay. But still kill one once in a while.

Like BLBass said - I walked up on a fawn once and didn't know it was there. A big doe was circling me and made a couple bluff charges at me. I started looking around and about 2 ft. to the outside of my left boot was a little guy laying motionless in the weeds. I backed away slowly and gave a wide berth to the fawn, then Mom eased in and stood next to it. I wondered why that doe acted like she did. It became obvious when I saw the little one. Pretty cool to be that close to a tiny one though !!

Saw first fawn of the year this weekend and stepped right in the middle of a copperhead. Would have rather stepped on the fawn.

My daughter almost stepped on this little guy yesterday. He was laying in a patch of WR I had been plowing around all day. We were running the dog and she started yelling. She was hiding in the rye from the dog and was 6" away from it. We took a couple pics and got out of there. Mama was standing there this morning. First two deer we have seen all year. Very exciting.

Apparently you're never to young for the bachelor party.

Boy's will be boys.

Whole lot of spots there, they really like the wading pool.

Triplets! Look like late fawns with the spots still showing like that.
