The apple crop in New York looks pretty good – neither boom nor bust. Most trees have a nice crop, but not all. I expected that since some trees are profoundly biennial. We ducked any killing frosts, and rainfall here has been ok. Actually, we got a gully-washer which flooded my trees for short period of time. Weather patterns seem fickle, rough in one area, fine in another.
