Another year...another possible wish list.

:emoji_point_up_2: perfect timing. They're missing a couple though, but maybe it'll be updated.

I read somewhere, maybe here, that the new Cuddeback will work with the current Cuddelinks. But maybe that's a different model as well. Still wish they'd make them camo.

Edit...it's a different cam from the above. See: https://habitat-talk.com/index.php?...q-a-recommendations.11731/page-26#post-270360

Exodus announced they are discontinuing all of their cams and coming out with something new. Haven't seen what it is.

Fat chance I get anything beyond more ridgetecs this year and maybe a couple tactacams to leave on public land. I've had good luck with higher end spypoints though too. That new model doesn't mention if it's a no glow or not.

Interesting move from Exodus! Looking forward to what they have in store.

Mine just came in today. Will leave a review when up and running.
There are some decent reviews out there. Will be interesting to see more and updates from everyone. Then a good sale would be nice- I know they had one recently but hopefully a bigger one in the future. Or just cheaper if sold by others.

Stealthcam has brought the Prowler back. At least the name. That was my first Stealthcam 12yrs ago or more. These days it doesn't even have audio..so they've really gone backwards.

Boly has a new white flash coming out in a couple of weeks. This one has "invisible IR" as well as the led's and Xenon flash. https://www.bolymedia.com/index/Cameras_detail/id/47

This last one is a white flash that you can connect via wi-fi hotspot. I've never had any use for cams you can get pics and vids from if you're close enough but for those who do/will: https://www.trailcameras.com.au/wir...-r-20mp-hd-wifi-white-flash-trail-camera.html

What SIM card are you using?
I got an att SIM card. Had to use chat with customer service. He took my imei number and another number from the camera, and the next day it was working. I have read different things but for me I have the att card working.

. Haven’t put up at farm yet but have been playing with at house and it’s been good. Only thing I have found so far is the interface is basically same as for their security cameras so has a few too many options and not really intuitive for plug and play wildlife people. That said I haven’t changed any settings really so it is kind of plug and play.

Spartan's latest GoLive has a "Wide-angle lens with a 96° FOV". https://go.spartancamera.com/products/spartan-golive2-4g-lte

Looks pretty cool. I’m confused by the specs on it though. Does it have room for 12AA batteries + the internal battery or is it just the internal and any others need to be added externally? It will need a solar charger or additional external battery on the small capacity of the internal battery.

Watched a YouTube review of that keen, no solar charging below 32 degrees is probably a deal breaker for us up north.

I would also imagine the pan and tilt feature to not be very usable below freezing.

Does anyone know of any cell cams that do not need a mobile plan during the off-season to still function?

May not be for everyone but spypoint does as well as cuddeback j and g also. Not sure about any others.

I didn’t think the pan/tilt followed animals so it probably wouldn’t bother me much if I had it pointing where I want. Not having any appreciable battery life during the rut and late season is a problem.

The manuals online show battery trays for AA's and they say how many and what kind can be added. I may have missed it but didn't see anything about the internal battery- not even about charging it up..even though it's supposed to have one. So yeah..it's confusing. They sell solar panels w or w/out batteries of course...which would make sense to use but it sure gets expensive.
