Needs Tine length

I know culling bucks doesn't work but I'd let the boys have at him.

I have a flat top that's going on 7 1/2.

Nice buck. He would get an arow in my world. I think the short tines are genetics that he is not going to over come.

I'd say same buck and agree with T/C. He's not going to get much taller any older he gets.

I agree with you guys that he may not get much more tine length. But the mass and width this deer has put on in 2 years is incredible to me. I am just wondering how much more would he put on in another year? I think this buck scores high 140's now with 70" in beam length and his width combined.

Would he make high 150's in a year?

5.5 is my guess as well.

Wide bucks can be deceiving to score. I usually under score when guessing on them. With that being said I'd doubt he'd get to 150" without some serious time length added.

I'd say your estimate on beam length is right on John. I don't think he makes 150, but I'd certainly be taking the shot if presented the opportunity :)

Here is my guess on everything.

Beams 50"
Width 20"
Tines 37" total both side combined
Mass 40" 8 measurements, 4 each side.

Total: 147" gross this year!

Really don't care if I am high or low on the score. I just want to get some video tape of him. He has been very good at hiding when bow season starts!

I think you're spot on... I came up w/ 145". Probably one better than that around there right?
