Need information on new idea corn pickers

I am thinking about buying a corn picker. I really don’t know much about them other than they are two row and single row. I know the rollers and finders need to be in good shape and a 323 is a good single row model. Some have hydraulics and others don’t. Looks like you lift those manually. What do I need to know?

Finally, I like to plant on 24 inch rows can I use a single row on that spacing?

That part I have got down :). My neighbor is 80 and raised hogs for decades. He always raised silage corn and used a chopper. I learned long ago if a chopper gets stuck keep the hands and arms away. Today, if I owned a chopper and and it clogged I think I would call a dealer to come get it and bring me a new one! I don’t even want to unclog it with tools or wood or anything!
