I was lucky enough to get permission to hunt the whole season in St. Louis county on 80 acres less than 20 minutes from the house the Missouri River runs along it for about 1/4 mile hoping for a great year there will be 3 of us hunting it . They took me there last year 1 day bow 1 day muzzle loader and shot a good buck will be a lot more picky this year with a whole season only buck going down will be a shoulder mount or a professional European mount . I put in 1.5 acres in wheat and clover a few weeks ago . So when the corn and beans get picked should be really good the blind was brushed in and a ladder stand is ready.
