Yes that is floating corn touching the camera 3 foot up in the tree. Plus our back Rye plot that looks like a rice patty.

Man where was the rain in June and July? Now it won’t quit.

I’m not hurting like that though. You must have nice bottom ground.

Geez! You're gonna have to boat in to your deer stand! Looks good for flooded timber mallards.

Is that a nice buck in your Rye though??

Just about everywhere it is too wet to harvest. We will see if it drys out. Good luck on the deer in Iowa.

2" at my place in MO yesterday.

5" in 5 days for me in NEMO. .6 from Memorial day to Aug 15.

I hope winter rye likes wet feet. I've never had a late summer/early fall like this so I'm not sure...

About like your lawn, in my experience. :)

We will be hunting out of our vehicles soon because it’s the only high spot left. We climb up in our stands and it’s like overlooking a large lake. We have been receiving so much rain the past two years that old jackpine are dying out in areas becouse their feet are so wet in these sandy areas.

Our Last week of trout fishing is a bust. Was hoping to get out one more time before New Years Day.
