Map for Christmas Hunterra, Northwoods or ???

My wife asked me what I want for Christmas and I'm thinking a larger blown up topo map of the farm. Want to frame an hang in the den at the house. Anyone have one? Seems like two of the most popular companies that do this are Hunterra and Northwoods mapping. Any other good companies out there? Any feed back is greatly appreciated.
Tks Jordan

I went through Northwoods Mapping a few years back. We have ours hanging in the cabin and it makes it easier to explain to the other hunters in the group where things are at. If I remember correctly, it was pretty reasonably priced too. I support them for sure, doesn't hurt that he lives within an hour of us so it's nice to support local guys.

I'm sure Northwoods does a great job...We purchased ours through Hunterra and would do it again. Easy to work with, and they sent a rough draft for us to take a look at (and modify if we desired) prior to printing and shipping.

Hunterra seemed pretty pricey compared to Northwoods. I wonder if theirs is any different?? I will say they look almost 3D in their advertising

We've had ours 3 years...depending on the latest aerial quality will determine how good the 3D look comes out. Ours was definitely less than what they are selling them now for! Although, and they are pricey, I do like the magnet maps they are making now. If one had a large tract they were working with, I would definitely go this route.

As mentioned, I'm sure Northwoods does a great job, we just chose the Hunterra route.

I used mytopo. I think mine are about 3'x4', on the wall of the cabin. I think they were $69 when I bought them. Love mine.

Thats a reasonable price! Good Quality?

Yes, very happy with mine. Just like a giant google earth image of the farm and surrounding areas. It's been a few years, but you would go to the website and build your own map. You would select the location, size, and zoom to the point where you had what you wanted. I have my farm and the surrounding neighbors, more or less. I think I bought mine in 2012, they still look like new. Not sure what the price may be today...

Just wanted to let you guys know I went with Northwoods mapping and Happy I did. Took advantage of their Christmas special which was a competitive price after shopping around.
Their was a little mix up with my order and they made it right no questions asked.
Free Upgraded Heavy duty laminate was part of their Christmas special however I failed to relay to them that I did not want laminate on my map since I planned on matting an framing with glass over it. Glass and laminate don't mix. Been through this in the past. I reached out to them and long story short they sent me 2 new maps. They didn't have to do that as it was pretty much my fault...
Just thought I would pass along that they went above an beyond to make sure I was a happy customer. I will refer them any chance I get for doing so. Not many company's do that this day an age...
