Lowes put all their trees 50% off today. They actually have good looking trees compared to what big box stores usually have. I picked up 2 Liberty, 2 wolf River, and 2 kieffer pears. I was shocked they had those varieties and full size. Kieffer were semi dwarf but rated zone 4 which I don't think I have seen around here before. They need a little pruning but the central leaders are 10' tall, a lot to work with. They have a boat load of pin oaks left so I will wait for those to go to 75% off. I paid $72 for 6 trees. Give it a look you may find a gem or two.
