Coming down the trail in BLM a pair of bucks were bedded in a flat meadow area. Might be an interesting hunting opportunity.

That looks like a beautiful place to hunt! I envy being able to get that far away from modern noise.

The drainage in the photo is the Montana/ Idaho border on the top of the far mountain.

It was about two hours from the house by horseback. My horse is outta shape ( kinda like me and my couch potato dog.)

The bucks were less than half way from the house, there was water nearby…….i think I found their bedroom out in the sagebrush.
