I am just starting to see advertising for this product.
And am interested in insights on its' feasibility.
A strap-on battery-operated spreader for planting or dispersing urea has an appeal.

Depending on what ur goals are these are two choices. SD would tell you a hand held leaf blower for clover is bedt5

I intentionally keep my plots small so do not really need a tractor or UTV mounted spreaders - 2,000 sqyds is the larget. I've long used a strap-on Earthway, and recently purchased a Uniqwamo hand-held (compatible with my DeWalt batteries).

But replacing that Earthway with a battery operated unit of similar size/capacity sounds pretty doggone intriguiging. I ain't gettin' any younger....so battery operated is calling to me.

I have the manual version. The harness is great. How you adjust the gate is clever. Way better than the Earthway bag and bucket spreaders. I have two gripes with it. Probably better for seed than fertilizer , but would work. It's mostly plastic, and fertilizer is heavy, so I'd worry about the gears long term.

1. Once when I was spreading clover, it got jammed. Somehow some seed got under the spinner and jammed in the gears. I had to empty it, tap the crap out of it and refill it.

2. The biggest seed opening is too small for larger seeds. I tried to spread oats with it, but they came out way too slowly.

I'm trying to find a used 5' tow behind drop spreader for fertilizer. That seems to work the best. Had one but sold it as we upgraded our way to a bigger/better lime spreader.
