We have our first Esopus Spitzenburg, we planted two of them four years ago. One is close to fifteen feet tall the other maybe eight or nine feet, the smaller of the two made the apple. I had been picking blossoms to let them grow wood over fruit for now but must have missed one, so if it makes it till fall I'll give it a taste to see if the flavor is as good as I've heard.
