What is the cut width of that George. I use a 60 inch and wish I had wider. I have Massey compact tractor. I spend much too much time mowing but it sure looks good when I am done. I mow every week in summer. Takes 5 to 6 hours if not wet heavy grass. I never get to enjoy how good it looks because as soon as I finish I have to get back home to do honey do list lol

Looks nice George. I am trying to come up with something that cuts 7 ft width but not easy to find in finish mower

I ended up pulling the trigger on the 16" and 28" Bacho loppers from bachostore.com. They have free shipping on all orders over $10.

Hopefully I am set for life when it comes to hand tools for the orchard.

Bumping this old thread to the top because the ARS extension pruners is absolutely awesome. Quick and easy for those branches and water sprouts that are out of reach standing on the ground. Eventually it wont be tall enough but this thing helps me prune 90% of my trees.

Less time on a ladder = the better.

I'm using my ARS "pole pruner" more than my hand pruners this spring.
