Cuddelink general Q&A recommendations

Auto setting seems fine to me. I had one cam I disabled till I can get to it. Have a raspberry popped up taller than the camera. Tried adjusting the sensor but not enough.
 
What’s everyone’s feedback on using the auto settings on the camera? I started all mine on Auto and so far I’m liking not getting hundreds of wind pictures. But is it too restrictive? I get pics from all my cams, but I thought I’d get more than 1-2 from deer feeding in a plot for a half hour (what I’m assuming is a half hour)

Here are my current settings:
- on a trail: 5secs
- on a mineral lick—I tried auto, but it was generating way too many, so I have it set at 1 minute.
- mock scrape — auto

That covers all of my current use cases.

turn the delay to your preferred time period and play with motion sense until you get what you are looking for looking for -
 
I just updated the app on my iPhone through the App Store, and now it’s not working. Anyone else having issues? (I rebooted phone, restarted app)

its working, have you logged out and back in ? last resort delete the app off your phone and reinstall it

One more question… the clock is one hour off. The home cell camera did not have the option to set the time like most cameras and the manual shows. Assuming it’s a daylight savings time issue. How can I adjust or get into the mode to allow me to adjust.

if its an L series it sets off the cell tower, if its another model you need ot manually set it. On G , K home units you can turn DST off or on in the menu.

It’s the L series home camera. It is an hour off. Is there something I can do to get it to be correct?

did you run a cell test at the location its at ,when deploying it ?
 
Yes. I’ve run several cell tests since deploying it and seeing that the time is off. I can try again when I get down to the farm.

@john volkmanJust closing the loop: I had a couple days where no pics were coming through after I dropped the message above about the timestamp being an hour off. I had just set up a second network when the pics stopped. The next time I was at the farm, I again ran a couple cell tests, and also swapped out the SD card on the Home L station. That seemed to break the photo logjam. Both networks are sending pics correctly now.
I haven't been able to validate the timestamp, yet. (a suggestion would be to include the timestamp on the Cell tests. :-) )
 
The new app update is showing me this camera disconnect message, but I don't think any cameras ar disconnected. One wasn't sending pics so I switched on endless SD and it started sending again. Is this just a stock message? Should it show which camera isn't connected? All cameras appear connected in the report.

yes if the camera is disconnected, it typically names it , if all of your cameras are now connected i would disregard the message

I ignore it, but it's annoying that it pops up every time I open the app. Is there any way to clear the message? I tried clearing the cache and storage on the app. (Android version)

log out and log back in, or delete the app and reinstall , they have been updating it weekly if not more

let me know if your alert is still there after reloading the app and ill share with an engineer, there you said android version correct ?
 
Any update on when they custom naming/tagging for photos might be reinstated? Man I miss that feature. Finding myself now searching 100s of pictures from last year to identify this years bucks.

not at this time you can label them as favorites is it right now
