Cold weather (or something) bringing lots of close ups.

Seems like the year passed without deer paying ANY attention to my trail cameras. Then, in the last few weeks, I'm getting dozens of pictures of deer obviously looking right at the cameras. Any one else getting this? Could the cameras show some warmth, during this cold snap? Are they making a noise they did not make in the warmer weather? Any other ideas on why all the close ups, all of a sudden. Here is a random sample of the latest...

(All CuddeLink G or J cameras, and I've not touched them or changed batteries or sim-cards in months.)

In my case, where cam mounted on edges of treeline, and lots of weeds and greenbriar, deer are browsing up under cams.

I drive a Mercedes diesel. I wonder what the chances of it starting are after sitting outside 10 hours from now. (it's an 05 and doesn't have a block heater)

Percent? Bout zero if your air temps are as cold as mine this morning.
