Chinese Sequins, Allegheny or Ozark chinquapins

Jordan Selsor

5 year old buck +
Looking for a small amount of seed to grow with the kids. 10-20 of each would be more than enough. Will gladly pay for nuts and shipping.

Thank you in advance!

I have ordered seed from Route 9 and from Perfect Circle Farm in the past and would recommend both. They typically start selling them in middle of October and through the winter. I wouldn't wait though.

(I feel like these are much more expensive than what they have been in the past. I will order 0.25 lbs worth and will have plenty left over that I could send you if you don't want to pay the $27).

For Perfect Circle Farm, you need to select the seed from a mother tree: https://www.perfectcircle.farm/tree-seed/chestnut-seed-n539h
They are pricy, but the best quality and biggest selection of chestnut seeds I have found.

We can keep in touch if you are just looking for a few seeds of some. I will have plenty left over of the ones I am buying this fall to trade/gift if you are interested.

I picked these Allegheny chinquapins off a tree on Sunday afternoon. It is more than I need. Send me a direct message and we will work something out.
