Bulky sleeves

On more then one occasion I have shot, and had my string hit my coat sleeve. This obviously only happens late winter, when I am layered up, and have my warmer jacket on. I use to use an old sock, with the toes cut off, and slide it over my arm to compress my jacket sleeve, but I look pretty stupid wearing it. Is there a product made for such a thing?

I wear this exact sleeve plus my traditional arm guard over the top of it. The sleeve takes the wrinkles and puff out of my jacket
