I wouldn't get one that didn't cover my tire tracks. Not saying it wouldn't work but just not what I'd do. Every implement I own covers my tracks by at least 8".

I want to down size my brush hog. Almost all my brush hogging is under tighter quarters, where maneuverability is paramount. Those 6 footer plus are heavy beasts too.
The wheels flatten most stuff anyway, so I don't think it pays to have a mower out to the wheel base. There are exceptions like brush, where u generally make more than one pass anyway .
This is the kind of buy I'm looking for. If anyone wants to upsize, I'd consider....
