I wanted to beef up my tractors brush guard. Here's what I did with a piece of 3/16" expanded metal. A $12 piece of metal and a few hour labor. I feel the radiator will be protected a lot better now.

Ready for paint
It's painted and hanging in the garage, will install tomorrow and post the finished job then. Sorry for the last pic being out of focus.
