Yep, no firearms sale to anyone under 21 now.So your saying they will not sell a firearm to a league aged person if they pass a background check? Over 18 for shorty and rifle just to be clear

Any privately owned business should be able to make their own policies. My objection is the timing of this will fuel the antis. They likely looked at the small profits lost not selling AR or to adults under 21 years old and figured it was a minor loss compared to the PR they would gain with libs who only buy other sporting equipment.
News flash we are not their target demographic. Their business their choice. They have good sales on tree stands from time to time. Been waiting on another one.
I agree that Dicks isn't much of a hunting store but they also own Field and Stream and we ARE F&S target customer. I won't be giving them my money either. They know their clientele is shifting younger, urban, and more liberal. They were making more sales in Patagonia gear and Uggs than guns anyway. Their base isn’t old, cheap, white, conservative guys. Heck their softball/baseball bat area is larger than the hunting/fishing area in every one I have ever been to.
Dick's Sporting goods just announced they will no longer sell "assault" weapons (whatever that is).
FYI, Dicks also operates the Field and Stream stores.
I've made my last purchase at either of those chains.
