FYI the northern nut growers association is having there annual meeting at uw lacrosse this year. I am not attending the full conference but am going on the tour wed July 29 which includes a tour of the American chestnut patch in west Salem as well as a tour of mark sheppards farm near viroqua that has a hybrid chestnut grove / permaculture set up. Thought this may be of interest for some on here.
