I planted a bunch of varieties years back for deer and did not label them. These are delicious.

Gonna miss those medium guys. First year they really started producing.

Yep - it sure looks like a Centennial to me too. I just picked the first 2 off our one tree at camp and they were super tasting. Mine looked exactly the same. With as good as they taste, I'm gonna have to get one for the home yard too !!

How is Centennial for disease resistance? Looks like another one I should grow.

TC - I haven't noticed any big disease probs. on our camp Centennial tree. A few nibbles from bugs, but other than that, it seems good. Ours is in ground 3 years. I only sprayed it with some Sevin for bugs. CAR not a prob. where we are. Most of our apples & crabs are planted in open areas with good breeze, so fungus probs. are minimized somewhat. Lots of sun too. That's about all I can offer on Centennial - delicious taste though !!
