Apple trees, should I pick the apples?

As you can see, I have a lot of weight pulling down on branches.

Should I pick some? Pick them all? Do nothing?

I am just wondering what I should do to relieve pressure or just take everything and let the trees grow.

They look like they are old enough to give you some fruit. I would just thin the load a bit. Give yourself a general rule such as at least 6" between apples, if that still looks like too much weight then go to 8" or 10" etcc..

Last week, two bachelors told me how they thin apples.

Shake the tree!

Or the limbs with the heaviest crop.
