always a joy to find these little bastards when changing batteries,cards,etc

Anyone else have this issu
 
?thoughts on management?

I would think you could spray them down with something but there might be a trade off with less deer pictures.
 
Spray them with the same stuff we use for ticks. Permethrin...

ants can fry a camera.
 
It is amazing how a camera that is supposed to be weather proof can be full of tree ants. I do same as Bill and try and spray the inside of new cameras with Permethrin being careful not to get on lens and then once a year early spring on existing cameras. Half the time I usually get busy and don't remember to do it in spring until I open a camera full of ants.
 
Put a drop of Terro ant poison either inside or on top the camera. Terro's prime ingredient is borax and can also be used to kill spiders.
