Haus 5 year old buck + Jun 13, 2018 #1 I’ve had some large ant mounds pop up next to my chestnuts that I have in tubes. Can they be harmful to trees? If so, what would be the best way to get rid of them?

4wanderingeyes 5 year old buck + Jun 13, 2018 #2 I spray the mounds, and around it with permethrin. It seems to wipe them out that year, but they seem to come back in the same spot the next year.
