A great, big day...

Yesterday was a good one for us.

Had family in from out of town and my 9 year old got baptized at church. His idea. and a very proud dad moment...

In the afternoon, in spite of the rain and ugly weather, we headed for a box blind.

Big doe came thru the oats and stopped for a minute too long.

I'm a proud Papa.

He was pretty excited to contribute the backstraps to Thanksgiving this year.
To top it off, it was the first deer we've ever killed with a hand reload I'd made. That made it special for me too...
