That does look like a serious machine to use for hunting. Decent range too. What I would have done for one of those in my elk hunting days. Would it crawl up a mountain trail? (not crazy stuff.....but serious elevation changes?) I used to hate walking up a few thousand feet.

Yes this machine with all 3 wheels engaged is climbing easily very steep Ozark Mountain ridges n hills ..my experience on reasonable logging trails is just a relaxed ride ..on rutted/washed trails it is fine also if you have the sense to take it slow and easy and pick your best path ..as far as true "boondocking" ..like going straight up a rock strewn ridge side you personal body fitness ( using your legs to kick out for an unexpected lurch for example) would be advisable but the machine has the horses to do the pull ..pretty stable with 5 12 volt batteries very low at axle height ..

Any hunter who has infirmities that are limiting or about to have to give up hunting can use this machine ..so in my case lower back degeneration really limited my personal range ..but worse was was going and coming from my deer and turkey blinds in the dark as my balance as I have aged has gone to crap

And the other BIG BIG payoff is this machine is whisper QUIET ..sneaky quiet ..no humming/whining or blabbing motor noise or gears noise or chain noise ..it is just plain sneaky for early in the dark woods penetration

Thanks
Bear
