I may give these another try this spring. EHD has decimated the deer herd in my county, so maybe I could plant some without having to cage them all in. I am sure the two fawns and the fork horn I still have left around here may eat a few, but hopefully the rest would live and grow.
Good for mid season or layered for late season. They are too big on me as they fit more like an XL than an L. I am 6', 200lbs and they are baggy on me. Plenty of pockets for storage. Very quiet material.

Mowing, spraying for grass (which until now was the only "weed" in the plot). We have experienced drought the last 2 years so some patches have dried out leaving openings for weeds to get into the plot.
I have this starting to take over large portions of a clover plot. Just curious what it is and if I should spray it now or wait until Spring to mess with it? Thanks.

I did buy it from Wal Mart. The "pears" are still on the tree and are still about the size of pea or little larger. I have never grafted before, but will research it over the winter and give it a shot this spring.
We are finally getting some rain here in SE Ohio. Is it too late to throw some white clover out in hopes it germinates enough to come back in the spring? I realize it won't do much this year, but I am hoping to get it established come spring of 2026.
