Tree looks familiar but I can't ID it

Deer LOVE mulberry leaves, the are also very high in protein. The wood from mulberry is very useful, excellent fence post (high rot resistance) and excellent firewood (high BTU)

    Raccoon trapping

Fling them over the fence. When I lived in Florida, they would get thrown into the canal to feed the gators.

    Goldfish

I think the trap/net guy is seeing $$$$ How would you ever trap enough to even put a dent in the numbers? One breed cycle and the numbers would be right back up.

    Goldfish

When I was about 12 years old I netted a 5 gallon bucket full of gold fish out a pond on the campus of a local university. My mom shot down my idea of starting a pet store. I took the bucket of fish and dumped them in a little swale next door. The swale was mostly cattails with a maximum depth...

    Tree ID

I was focusing so much on the last picture, I just noticed there are 2 different trees. First one could likely have compound leaves (Possibly walnut or ash) 2nd tree looks like Slippery Elm or American Basswood. FWIW

    Tart cherry tree advise.

Did a little reading about the North Star, sounds like a good tree. Does the North Star need a pollinator? If it does, what would be a good pollinator for it?

    Tree ID

To me, it doesn't look like any kind of tree that would have compound leaves, it's too "twiggy". The bark looks a lot like a slippery elm that once stood in my yard, but it's hard to I.D. just by the bark.

    Tart cherry tree advise.

I'm thinking about getting a tart cherry tree or 2 for my yard for my own use, I'm sure the birds will help themselves also. I have never grown cherry trees and don't know much about them other than they like sandy soil. Does anyone out there grow tart cherries? Whats a good variety for...

For some people it's pop, for some it's tea, and for a lot of us it's the coffee, but most of us need that shot a caffeine from something everyday. LOL

    Rooting Apple Trees from Cuttings?

I'm just starting to experiment with trying to root apple cuttings. I am trying 2 different ways. First is a bottom heat growing box that I made, It holds 36- 3" pots. The sand medium in the pots is held at 65 degrees F, the air temperature is held at 50 degrees F. The idea is to keep the...

Anyone have a favorite coffee that is the BEST?

I like Folgers Black Silk. I can't function without a couple cups of coffee in my system. I also use the Black Silk in my cold brew jug in the summer time.
