    Wetland food plot recommendations?

Looking for any recommendations for something that will grow in a wetland foodplot. Depending on the year, it could get flooded a few times for a few days each occurance. We've done Brassicas that did ok, just looking for alternatives that may have worked for others. Thanks.

    Wetland question

Finished planting for this year, but I'm wondering how wet Highbrush Cranberry and Black Chokeberry can get. I know it says "moist, well drained soil...can handle loam..." I have a marshy area that can get flooded for a few days a time...4-8 times a year, depending on rainfall. So I'm wondering...

    Wetland Planting??

Yes there are some trees present. Mainly a few silver maples, ash and brush. We had 7 acres of ash cut out adjacent to the marshy area which we are planting in too. Lots of open marshy canary grass areas though. That's where we're concentrating the plantings.

    Wetland Planting??

I am trying to fill my marsh- Canary grass- with trees and shrubs. A creek meanders through it and it gets flooded up to 6 times a year for up to a few days. I'm trying tamarack, black spruce, hybrid willow, ROD, Button bush, chokeberry bush and even Alders and this year testing Bald cypress...

    White Spruce VS Norway

I got an all steel spade from A.M. Leonard that I really like. Bit pricey, but indestructible so far. Never could get the hang of a dibble bar.
