Sorry to hear that, My land was hit by a tornado 3-4 years ago and it was a mess...but nowhere near 200 trees. I just left the trees where they fell in the woods, and only cut the ones across my trail. Had to hire somebody to remove the large trees , roots and all that blew over in the yard.

My two Death Wish Crabapple trees from Whitetail Crabs. Planted on April 18 2025 , pictures taken April 29 2025. Quick to blossom is all I have to say !.

I Planted 2 large size Death Wish's , last Friday April 18 , and one week later on Friday April 25 th both have blossoms just like that !.

I went back today and looked , the black strap was laying about 10 foot behind the tree. I pulled on it and it broke in half...deffenitly dry rotted. This is my newest camera only used for 2 years . I would have sworn the strap was still good, I guess they don't make'em like they use too...

Correct ,strap wasn't in eyesight of the tree . I may go back over the weekend and look better. I rushed back home since the SD card was still in it hoping to see a bear, or some Fool but there was no video of it being knocked or taken down.

Every year I put a trail camera on the same tree facing out into a field. I probably been using the same tree for 20 years. The camera is about 6 foot high up and angled down. I went out today to water my trees and when driving past I noticed the camera wasn't there. I wasn't alarmed at first...

Probably my oldest tree in my Hunting Plot , a Kieffer Pear tree from Lowes was loaded with small pears about the size of a fingernail when I drove past on Monday. Today they are just about all gone !, I only counted 3 small pears left. My Dr Deer Pear trees were wiped out too. In the same plot...

I had that happen once and wasn't happy , however truth be told there were no issues. Just keep the roots moist until you plant, and give them each 5 gallons of water when you put them in the ground. 5 gallons for the Death Wish...not sure how big the Chestnut are, seedlings I think.

Nice , I have two that are 5 years old and one younger one. I've seen a little car also ,my only complaint would be that the braches droop / sag. I need to prune them back hard next winter like bigboreblr recommended . I'll have to watch this year to see when they drop and how long they hold...
