The more you look online , the more conflicting info you find. Blue Hill says bury the graft , Whitetail crabs says keep the graft a inch or so above ground. Many places say keep the graft at 2 inches or 2-3 inches above ground , one even said 3 to 6 inches.

My Blue Hill instructions were stuck in the bottom of the box . I was in a hurry to get the trees in the ground , so didn't find them until after my trees were planted and I was cutting the box up. I only planted 3 BH trees this year , one was a pear so the planting instructions don't apply...

Cool , how were you able to get the Death Wish trees, it always said "sold out" since the day all the trees were listed ?. I planted 3 Death Wish's last year on 111 rootstock , for 2026 they are supposed to be on fullsize rootstock.

UPS dropped off my two Clay's Century trees at 6:30 pm, too late to plant today. They look good to me ,I didn't take them out of the bag but I ran a hose in it to wet down the roots. I will probably let them soak in a pail of water for a hour tomorrow morning before planting them. I'd say...

Nice try , but You didn't reply to "another member" who was looking for a watering option. You replied to my comment insinuating I'm "just using cold water and flooding my trees"
