My primary residence is between Milwaukee and Madison,WI, but I spend half the year on what my wife and I refer to as the "Lake-Farm". The property is ideally(for us) situated between Rhinelander, Minocqua & Tomahawk. We purchased this tract January 16, 2021 which has frontage on two lakes along with an additional 36 acres of Ridges, Tamarack Swamp, Islands in the swamp and nice peninsulas. We also border thousands of acres of public land.

2021 included a habitat plan for the property to get me started. I then promptly started developing a few smaller food plots (1.25 acres max) which needed to be carved out in the woods and then spreading close to 4000 lb lime. Good grief what a chore! We'll be carving and planting for years. Slow and steady was my progress, but I probably enjoy the habitat development as much as hunting these days.

2022 will see 21 Crabapple varieties from 3 venders, few hundred Norway Spruce, Black Hills Spruce and some colorado blue (Wife wants the blue in the landscape).

My equipment is limited to an ATV, Trailer, Sprayer, Packermax, Couple Chainsaws, & heavy duty harrow drag.
