My hunting property is on Beaver Island, Michigan. It is 160 acres.
The last several years we have put in roughly 12 acres of food plots. Clover is the backbone of the program. In addition, this property was once a commercial apple orchard in the 1930's-40's. When the land was purchased, most of the trees were over grown/abondoned.....many have been released and since then many more crabapple and pears have been planted.
Starting last year, hinge cutting has been incorporated to increase browse and for access shielding.
