Got a G series camera that won't stop taking pictures. Every 30 seconds and 16GB worth of images. Maxed the SD card and a set a 6 D batteries. I know I have seen this somewhere on the thread, but can't find.
Any suggestions? Or just pull and send to Cuddeback for repair?

John - any idea when the 3358 to J series cables will be out? I've got a camera reset scheduled for late July/early August (the recommended time for population surveys) and it doesn't sound like the new dual booster will be available then.

Headed to the farm tomorrow to update repower (boosters) all cameras and install new batteries across the system. Quick check on the lastest firmware update - is it still 7.3?

John - this is why I am hoping the externals (3358) will work with the J series as well. Its inexpensive and will give me a better indication on when to change batteries. If I have 2 weeks to a month from the time the externals go down and the internals are working in the meantime, I can make...
so it's a D vs AA compatibility? was concerned about that, but both are 1.5V systems run in series (depending on how they are wired internally). surprised this hasn't been attempted there is no documentation on it from cuddeback. can't wait to see what comes out at ATA.

why empty the battery compartment of the J camera? wouldn't having the AA is the battery compartment and the cuddepower 3358 external be better? is there a technology or voltage conflict?
