    Cuddeback's Cuddelink

Got a G series camera that won't stop taking pictures. Every 30 seconds and 16GB worth of images. Maxed the SD card and a set a 6 D batteries. I know I have seen this somewhere on the thread, but can't find. Any suggestions? Or just pull and send to Cuddeback for repair? Thanks all.

    Cuddeback's Cuddelink

John - any idea when the 3358 to J series cables will be out? I've got a camera reset scheduled for late July/early August (the recommended time for population surveys) and it doesn't sound like the new dual booster will be available then. If I had an idea when the cable was available, I could...

Headed to the farm tomorrow to update repower (boosters) all cameras and install new batteries across the system. Quick check on the lastest firmware update - is it still 7.3? Thanks.

John - this is why I am hoping the externals (3358) will work with the J series as well. Its inexpensive and will give me a better indication on when to change batteries. If I have 2 weeks to a month from the time the externals go down and the internals are working in the meantime, I can make...

so it's a D vs AA compatibility? was concerned about that, but both are 1.5V systems run in series (depending on how they are wired internally). surprised this hasn't been attempted there is no documentation on it from cuddeback. can't wait to see what comes out at ATA. having read this forum...

    Cuddeback's Cuddelink

How is this different than the cuddepower 3358 piggybacking on the G style camera? Same concept, right?

    Cuddeback's Cuddelink

why empty the battery compartment of the J camera? wouldn't having the AA is the battery compartment and the cuddepower 3358 external be better? is there a technology or voltage conflict?

With you on the J series cameras - want to be able to keep the AA power pack that came original on the J camera plus add the Cuddepower 3358. The only thing missing to make this work is a power cable with the 90 connection on one end and straight on the other. This is the exact cord that comes...

John - so the tenergy tn438 charger is purely to keep my rechargable AA batteries maintained and to test those that go bad, right? will be able to run regular alkaline batteries on the tenergy unit also to read the battery charge. this can be pretty helpful i think. will pick one up asap (what's...

to Kansas (10 hours) its once in the early fall to set everything up and back during the rut in late October/early November and a late season hunt in December - so 60 days +/- in the fall and into winter. if i could get power from December into turkey season in late April, that would be...

    Cuddeback's Cuddelink

New to the site - and am amazed at the great info here. Overall am impressed with the concept and despite the difficulties, am very happy with the results so far. At 6 hours and 10 hours to each of the places I hunt, pulling cards 2-3 times per year is of little value. Any intel at that point is...
