I’m more talking about putting seedlings in pots so I can nurse them for a season or two in the yard before putting them in the woods…

How long have any of you kept apple trees potted/in home nursery before transplanting? How long is too long? I am planning to keep a few in pots in the yard.

Question for you guys- would I be sorry if I go with the 16hp Kubota diesel? Or should I go bigger or different brand? Smaller property, sandy soil. Use will be tilling, digging, moving logs.

Do you feel you got faster growth with the Plantra tubes? My plan was to slowly start fencing trees , several per year afyer this year..

For my apples and crabs I used the 6’ Plantra tubes this year with the fiberglass driveway stakes. I put a weedmat at the bottom for weed suppression and build a under that to keep water from running off. So far, so good. This is year one. From what I am reading here, sounds like I should get...
