Another New Drill Model on the market?

I have a friend who farms and hunts. He considered it locally but most people want their spring and fall plots all planted at the same time. So peak business spring (already busy farming) and August(ish), when all of your customers want their plots in just before a rain in mid to late August...

Make sure you get the soap made for them. I think I bought Chemical Brothers brand. I'm away from home until Monday but can check then. Also remember to rinse the nozzles with plain water when finished.

    Landscape rakes.

    Uh, branches.

    Landscape rakes.

Thanks. This will mainly for clearing established trails (fallen tree limbs, etc), but I do plan to avoid the "bargain priced" units. I'm just tired of driving around in the Ranger and stopping to pick up crunches every 50 feet.

    Landscape rakes.

Looking for a landscape rake, probably with gauge wheels and definitely one that can be reversed. Would prefer not to wait months for delivery. (Fall cleanup is closer than we may want to believe). My MX6000 is about 80# wide the way the rear R14s are mounted and would probably look at 84"...

    Washing your tractor

The foam cannons work very well on my cars. I haven't tried it on the tractor but would have the same concerns above about power washing around exposed electronics. Interestingly, although the foam cannon requires a pressure washer to function, the foam doesn't exit the nozzle with the same...

What Brand Tractor Do You Own?

I'm at 92 hours on the MX and have worked through 3 recharge cycles so far. I haven't noticed any loss of power and once was carrying a 2000# (loaded and weighted) Tar River 507. Just ran the RPMs where the idiot light was happy and kept working all three times. When the no till was on was...

What Brand Tractor Do You Own?

Kubota MX6000. Started with a B7100 30 years ago, then added a 2000 L4300DT which I traded for the MX 1.5 years ago. Sold the B7100 to a neighbor when we downsized from two properties to one 10 years ago. All have been trouble free (so far)...

Tar River SAYA-507 No Till Drill

We're rain soaked here as well and I'm working this weekend. Still hope to get fall seeds in before Labor Day, but won't make the mistake of planting with no rain in sight again. Picked up seeds Monday. Plan to make a plywood "floor" for the tiller this week to adjust the depth more precisely...

Tar River SAYA-507 No Till Drill

I was lucky in that my dealer went through the unit before delivery (I had notified the salesman from reading this forum about the terrible QC and he promised they wouldn't deliver it until it was set up properly). He said it took hours of shop time to get it right, including doing some test...

No Till drill/planter cleaning and prep for winter storage.

I must be very slow to catch on, but I can't see an easy way to replace the bolts for the chain covers once they are removed. I was going to oil the chains but can't see any way to re-tighten the bolts on the cover? Couldn't find any pics or videos online, at least so far. Thanks.

    Chain saw mount for tractor

My barn/man cave has a full kitchen so I used "my" oven. But I did open all the windows and run the ceiling fan to minimize breathing the fumes. It really didn't smell that much that I could tell.

    Chain saw mount for tractor

True, but this took 10 minutes (before painting) and is very light but strong enough.
