    Cuddeback's Cuddelink

I’ve been building my own solar / battery packs and have gotten great results so far. No more changing batteries every few weeks! Also, I switched the D batteries to Rayovac D Ultra Pro Alkaline on the remaining Cuddelinks that are still running the D battery pack and have seen 100+ days so far...

    Cuddeback's Cuddelink

@john volkman, thanks for all your help on the forum! Any word concerning when the USB port on the Home unit will be enabled via a firmware update? I placed my first Home unit on pre-order 11 months ago solely due to the ability to use the USB port to automatically transfer photos to the...

    Cuddeback's Cuddelink

You may want to re-read my post. The J series cameras already have the optional 3495 D battery pack on them. In addition to the 3495 D battery pack, I'm wanting to add an external battery / solar panel to this system and want to know if it can handle a 12v input or if I need a 12v-9v regulator.

    Cuddeback's Cuddelink

Having an issue here with a J series. I noticed a “Low!” battery status on this camera after only 25 days on a fresh set on the D battery pack. This is the second J series to eat through the D pack in 25-26 days. I typically get 120 days from J series with this brand of batteries (Amazon branded...

Unzip the “cdy-1-0-0.zip” firmware file, manually copy the “cdy_1200_1_0_0.fw” file to your SD card, then update the firmware on the Cuddelink. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I just noticed firmware v7.5 for Cuddelink and loaded it on my Home unit. Going to update the J cameras next week. Has anyone else loaded the new firmware? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
