I'm Dan and I'm an x-farmer. It's been over 30 years. I milked Holsteains, but $4 milk helped me see the light and the (a) way! $1.75 corn and $2.24 soybeans in the 1990's validated my decisions!
Long ago I figured I could have more impact and a better standard of living by helping farmers be better at what they do! I have a B.S. and an M.S. in Agricultural Economics (Penn State) and a M.S in Information Systems (VCU).
In the 1980's I managed Agronomy and Ag Supply business in Maryland and Virginia. For about 12 years I was the Esecutive Business Analyst for the same company.
By 2003 I had sufficiently created strategy enough to nearly complete my mission!
February. 2003 I went to work for a governmnet agency (I'm prohibited from using it's name except in an official capacity). I'm still there. I'm the GIS Coordinator and compliance specialist in addition to being the point of contact for the crop insurance industry.
I'll stop there.
