It is. A little further south it isn’t allowed. Used to be a few years ago

We have right at 600. About 35 acres in plots and plenty of browse throughout the year. The neighbors are very selective on what they shoot and are feeding also year round. I can definitely tell a difference during the season when feeders run out because we see a lot less deer on the property.

We are thinking about doing supplemental feeding year round instead of just during deer season. We are in central MS along the MS river. Has anybody done it long enough to see any major results. If so how long do you think it took to see any results. I know it won’t be cheap doing it just...

No that was the Corp of Engineers that did that. We are just putting some concrete just on the bank.

Well I figured I would give a update. We suppose to start hauling concrete in next week to put on the bank. It was half price of any type of rock. The guy I am using has done a lot of that in this area and said it should work. We just put out cameras and should start having some good stuff...

I hunt not to far from there now and it’s decent. Lots of deer but our management is not the best from the neighbors. This property has some good neighbors that manage and there should be some studs walking around there. Most of those big river deer you never hear much about. Be my first season...

It’s the MS river, but it’s not the main channel until the river gets high enough to get in the channel.
