Lets discuss.....Deer Habitat Land Prices in your area.

It’s so location dependent in my area. A 30 minute drive either direction can change the price by 50%. True recreational property with no development potential will range from $3,000 to $7,000 per acre depending upon the size of the tract and how far from the population centers you are. I...

What Habitat Work Did You Do Today?

Watered a few recent planting after a quick and unsuccessful turkey hunt. The clover looks amazing! Crimson is starting to flower pretty good.

    G&H Farms

I’m at 50% of the historical average rainfall. Definitely getting concerned. My plots do look great though. Only thing using them is pigs.

Stock/water tanks on sale at TSC

Thx, just ordered two 120 gallon tanks. A little over 25% off.

    Tree Tube Recommendations

I’ve used the 1/2” thick wall pvc and it works well. I have found 4.5ft drives into the ground much easier than 5ft. That extra 6” makes a big difference in flexibility. A 4ft piece is even easier but can cause issues depending on how high your zip ties are on the tubes. I have around 250...

    Buying a Suppressor in 2026

Follow up question. I went and did the fingerprints today. Also set up an ATF account. I’m confused on whether I go ahead and fill out Form 4 or does the dealer do that?

    NCAA Men's Tournament

Duke looked to be the better team, they just let it get away from them. Hats off to UConn for an amazing comeback. AZ and MI look to be the best 2 teams by far. Too bad they play in the semifinals

    Buying a Suppressor in 2026

I ordered 2 suppressors last night and went with a single shot trust on each. Additional members can be added later. I’m going to get the suppressors first and deal with adding my family members later when I can get them all in one spot.

    Buying a Suppressor in 2026

Has anyone set up a trust to own the suppressor so that family members could be in possession of it? I’m researching what is the most efficient route to take.

    Dilemma

Turkish probably listened to the same podcast that I did this week from Wildlife Investments. The quail biologist didn’t like the giant cultivars of PP primarily because of its inability to properly carry a fire if it becomes a monoculture. Most of the quail biologists I listen to don’t often...

    Buying a Suppressor in 2026

I was actually referring to 356, but I appreciate your response and I’ll look into those. I know nothing about these AR platforms but I am wanting a dedicated hog gun and I want an AR. I really just want to copy someone else! 😂

Can you share the link to the gun build? I’m in the market for something similar

What Habitat Work Did You Do Today?

Make that 3.. I’ve had a huge group of 50+ move in and they have been destroying my clover fields for the last several days. Finally got a chance to come out a little pressure on them.

What Habitat Work Did You Do Today?

Just killed 2 wild hogs, I really can’t think of a better habitat improvement than that for my land.

Do you remember it being colder

W We didn’t quite that cold in south Alabama, but I had a few fruit trees lose 100% of their new growth. It was strange, some trees had zero damage and others looked like they had been poisoned
