Unless the price was right I would look for another machine. Could be fine but I always trust my gut and sounds like yours is telling you something.

Dolgo has become my favorite rootstock. All of mine have done great. I wish Bluehill still sold the rootstock for grafting.

That definitely describes my planting conditions. My 606NT has the turbo coulters and smooth press wheels. Totally happy with how it performs and would not change anything. I rented a 706NT for a decade with the same setup.

Primetime have been the best in both growth and shape. First year with a good crop on them, anxious to see if the drop time is as advertised. Gram’s Gift and Kerr have done pretty well also. My Big Dog has been my slowest grower.
