    Chicory roots?

They get them at my house too. Hosta fed deer taste pretty good though. I don't feel bad at all shooting them in my back yard.

Time to lighten up - Laughter is good medicine Part II

My Dad actually did this to my little brother when he was about 14 or 15. He was freezing his butt off and my Dad comes along, sits down, fires up a Marlboro and looks over and here comes this buck. Doesn't say a word and drops him right there. Boy was my brother pissed.

    When to say when

Oh man I feel your pain. My lab is 7 and a big one at 105lbs. He is a great retriever and dock jumper but I dread the day. He is my third black lab and even though it is tough, I will never be without a dog. I just love them too much and cant stand not having one around. After my last one...

How to establish clover from scratch?

I drill rye with an old grain drill and then roll that and broadcast clover over that in the fall. In the spring I do the same thing but with oats. Both have worked great for me. The brassica idea sounds interesting to me too. Might have to give that a try.

Developed a rash on my hands.

I hear ya. I got both ehrlichiosis and lymes before . It sucks for sure. I try everything too and have had the best luck with permithren treated clothes. We need to burn more in the springtime too
