I drill rye with an old grain drill and then roll that and broadcast clover over that in the fall. In the spring I do the same thing but with oats. Both have worked great for me. The brassica idea sounds interesting to me too. Might have to give that a try.
I hear ya. I got both ehrlichiosis and lymes before . It sucks for sure. I try everything too and have had the best luck with permithren treated clothes. We need to burn more in the springtime too
