I’m honestly not sure. I glassed him during the season and even video taped him with the zoom as much as I could zoom in and still get a clear pic. Looked like velvet kinda then too.
It could even be an antlered doe I suppose.

That’s Interesting. I used to sprinkle it on my hunting clothes about 40 years ago hoping to eliminate oders.
If it attracts deer I’d say adding some salt would make it better. If you want to experiment check out a pool
Supply store for sodium bicarbonate. It’s baking soda in a big bag...
My crazy as brother walked the line one morning literally banging pots and pans together. Then doubled back and told the guy he didn't think were any deer around this morning. 🤣
My only caution with landscape fabric is you must go back later and cut the fabric away from the tree or it will girdle them as they grow. I've used it and plastic. The problem with plastic is when deer step on it they poke holes in the plastic. Nothing is perfect......
MO is a 2 buck state. Unless you’re in a CWD zone. Then it’s either 12 bucks or 7 bucks depending on the zone. They say any Deer for CWD. But we get what that means.
Sad really, I used to think MO had a chance at being as good as IA.
