    Miscanthus giganteus transplanting

Maple rivers used to have videos of deer going in it to bed. He had spaced out rows. I bet they would bed next to a short run of it as long as they didn’t feel trapped. I’d say plant east to west and they would lay on the south side and use it as a wind block.

    Miscanthus giganteus transplanting

Don from Maple rivers accidentally sent several thousand rhizomes to my home in NJ rather than to the farm in MO. He got a new shipment out asap and when the one got to my house I had my wife refuse the shipment. I bet by the time they got back to him he had to trash them. That is customer service.

I bet it comes back. It’s pretty hardy and in my experience pretty drought resistant.

Forward facing sonar - fishing tech

I’m working on anagram with AI that tells you what stand to hunt based on wind and neighbors and weather and the time of year and the available food, scent,!and cover. I’m not but some A hole is..,,, We won in the terminator movies. So here’s for hoping.

We fish the White Marlin Open. Just not in it. But we’re out there. Hoping someday to bring a fish home that could have won if we had the cash to play.

Indeed. Which is why my $ stayed in my pocket. Honestly though it was fun tournament and I should have entered. They have an awesome dinner for four couples and a bunch of give aways. It was just the point for me. Look up the white Marlin Open. Guys are laying down $100k plus and the only...

Forward facing sonar - fishing tech

Wait until the Omni sonar that the big sport fishing boats are using gets smaller. On a good day they can see a Marlin or school of tuna 2-3 miles away 360 degrees around the boat. Last year we bowed out of a fun family type Tournement when I found out Omni was ok to use. The guy putting it...

    Gun procastination?

Speaking of guns in pieces. I have a Remington nylon 66 black diamond .22 semi. Took that apart to give it a good cleaning and spring loaded stuff shot out where I couldn’t see where it came from. Took 2 years to get that figured out. Never again….

That stand is over 10 years old. It was 2 rows that eventually grew into each other. I'd say with 2 rows it's 3 to 4 years before you have a good screen.

I get it. But he did start with “I can’t be sure”. First rule of Marketing is if you don’t talk good about yourself no one will. He’s got a lawyer...and should. His end message was good. What’s your screen in December. Welcome to Habitat talk. This is exactly why I do this, in between...

If Don would have asked I would have given him the money shot. And this is before both sides of the street.

I just checked, that’s on Facebook. (With my wife’s account, because I don’t do Facebook). But about 3 people commented they know where that is. I guess I have to nuke it all to stay off the grid. DAMN!…. 🤣

    Gun procastination?

I was hoping for at least the magnification of an old Weaver 2.5 scope. Give me a little zoom but keep it old school.

    Gun procastination?

I have 1927 Winchester 1894 I need to get around to figuring out how to scope without drilling holes. When our herd bounces back I’d like to drop the hammer on one with it.
