If it was me I would mow spray till plant. whitetail clover makes spray to kill grass in a clover plot. I have never had a problem planting in the spring.

Perfect size. I have nothing but AG fields around me corn beans and hay. I plant clover for all season draw and by me they go crazy over it. I'm starting to plant apple tree by me! I plant rape and turnips for winter food source and they go crazy for them when there snow on the ground.
