John, I have an older J cam with the 12 AA battery pack. If I replace it with a 4D battery pack will it work the same as the new J's or is there some internal programming/component difference? Joe

Yeah that's what I thought. I have 11 cams a mixture of the old solar panels and AA and dual battey packs. I have solars that are approaching two years without issue (full sun in a field). Most of my DBP run for 245 days. When I get back to the farm I'll switch the batteries for new Rayo Vacs...

On 11/1 it showed 42 days and EXT-2 OK. on 11/2 it switched to good 0 days for three days and then started to count days again.

On the DPB if it switched over to Bank 2 can I replace the battery's in Bank 1 and then when bank 2 runs low will it switch back to bank 1? Also how do I reset battery days running 8.0

OK I'm going out to the Farm (860 miles away) Saturday for two weeks. I will check what the battery levels are in Bank 2. If they are good there is probably something wrong with it.
