    Good news - bad news?

We are suppose to get 14+ inches of snow from Thursday to Tuesday. That is about triple of what we had all winter. The temps are suppose to be close to single digits, but my trees haven’t thought about blooming yet.

    Credit debt cards.

I also use Square. Pretty simple, even a dummy like me can figure it out. Usually by the next day the money is in my account. But I do add 3% if using CC. Or should I say, a 3% deduction if paid with cash.

    Two wheel drive tractors

I ran 100 acres with an international 560 2wd and a loader. I wasn’t winning any races plowing, but it did the job.

    Pruning during bloom?

TC knows a lot more than I do, but at this point, after bloom, I would only trim dead branches, or damaged branches. Let the tree ride out this summer, and just plan on getting after it after leafs drop.

    Fruit Tree Spray Frequency

What is rain? I want to spray mine some this year, I am not looking for perfect apple to sell, just better looking apples for me. I dont think the deer, raccoon, bear, and squirrels care much, since they get 90%of them. This last last winter, I had a lot of apples still hanging into late...

    Rain

That is crazy! We had a dry last summer, and fall, very little snow, or moisture all winter, and no rain or snow to speak of since the beginning of the year. I live in the big Forrest area, wild fires would be dangerous in my area. Unless we get moisture soon, it’s going to be an interesting...

Flew a thermal drone at my place today.

Off subject, but last winter we had a record amount of snow, 3 ft plus on the ground most of the winter, deer would herd up on any plowed path, and be very hesitant to stray to far off of it. During the heavy snow, I plowed paths from the road, past my shop, to the wood boiler, then back to a...

Am I going to regret buying Skidsteer ?

I have many hours in them. A wheeled machine is much better on smooth surfaces, a track machine floats over smaller bumps. But as others said, driving a tracked unit down a road, you are just asking for problems. Just a few miles on tar, and you will see the damage on the tracks. $for$ you will...

Do you remember it being colder

I can also remember in the 70’s that we were headed back into an ice age. That didn’t happen, so “they” dreamed up other scary agendas. I will admit this winter has been warmer then I can remember, but if you can find a weather channel that will post the jet stream, you will see why. But they...

    Dogs and vaccines

I have heard others say this, but I havent noticed anything like that. You will still find a few ticks, but they will be dead.
