Weather

Looks like more water is headed for my trees this evening. Would be nice to get a few more inches yet this season on them.

It's too wet. It's too dry. It's just right.
Precipitation DEPARTURE (inches) from NORMAL

Brown is Dry (Below Normal)
Green is Moist (Above Normal
Blue to Purple is Really Wet (Above Above Normal)USA.jpgNE.jpgSE.jpgGC.jpgUpperMidWest.jpgTX_OK.jpg

We had a really wet spring with lots of acres going unplanted around me then this summer the water was turned off and apparently we have drought conditions. We've recieved 3'+ inches of rain the last couple days so we're really soaked again.

Hope we get some rain soon. The 12” from the last few weeks just isn’t enough to make it the shittiest corn and bean harvest ever at this point. Mud the shit in and then mud it out in the fall. I know a couple farmers that will probably just turn the gun on themselves if it continues. Farm morale is as low as I have seen it in 15+ years.

We are super wet and have storms rolling in as I type.

We had 9.5" in Sept and this was the rain gauge when I got up last night for the last 6 days. Supposed to rain today and I hear the drops starting to fall on the skylights right now ...

You can see the torrent trying to wash out my driveway.

Somewhere under there is the overflow pipe for the pond.20191005_132615.jpg

Share some with a brother. We've had 3/4" since the beginning of Sept. Of course 90-100 degrees everyday. Farm is a dustbowl. But time too plant...anyway

Another inch of rain today with more coming tonight and tomorrow

Looks like I will be getting a little break from the rain this weekend, snow instead!

Freeze coming 2 weeks early

Gunna be a long winter if this is how things start off. Ugg, felt like I just put the shovels an blower away, 40 mph winds not helping. Not right if I have to walk through snow for the pheasant opener.

Well it rained, or snowed pretty much all weekend. So the wetness continues!

Booyah, today is a good day.
Made it above freezing.
Currently 35 degrees.
After the past 3 days the deer deserved a break.
