Stock Market is the bottom in?

The rebound from last year's march low is the 3rd swiftest on record. Like riding a jet ski up out of a volcano. There's also never been so much stimulus thrown at a dysfunctional economy as we've had in the last 12 months. I just finally started selling some stuff I bought a year ago during the bloodbath.

Party pooper...

probably not a bad idea to move some to cash. I’m buying more land that the ocean was supposed to swallow in 2020. Guess Al was wrong. Even with those dire predictions people keep snapping it up year after year.

I would be staying as far away from Dogecoin as possible. A couple of months ago I brought up Bitcoin as an investment and was mostly shot down by people here, and that has been around for more than 10 years and has been averaging returns over %100 for at least the last 4 years. The consensus at the time was that it is too volatile. Since my comments in January and early February, my Bitcoin investment has increased by over 100%. It could lose 50% of its value in the next two months, but it is still a wiser choice than Doge, especially in the long run.

Here is a link that explains this a little further about Doge:

Well, I have seen enough from crypto that I wanna throw some cash at it. I just have a tiny position at the moment, but I wanna get to 3-5% of my stuff over the next few months. I hear some of the tech companies in CA might start paying employees with crypto. and eventually go mainstream. Some places are starting to accept crypto for payment. You can buy a tesla with bitcoin.

It may all be just a fad at some point, but its popularity is ever increasing at the moment. If I would have bought $5,000 worth of bitcion 5 years ago I would be smiling from ear to ear. I guess why not buy some now?? It really seems to be becoming more mainstream at the moment. And lets face it, if this economy craters or we go into world war 3 we will all be wiping our asses $100 bills anyway cause toilet paper will be worth more.

Starting a Roth IRA for our 16 year old daughter. Gonna get her a small slice ($500) of bitcoin as part of it. Who knows, a tiny risk to me could pay off huge to my heirs.....

Not pooping anywhere. Just making some observations. There's no rhyme or reason to this market. We're leaping from one stimulus program to another. So until someone can forecast who the next chosen people will be, we just gotta hold on to what we know, and that is that more money is coming every single day. I have started spreading out a little more and favoring stocks that have pricing power, should inflation really start eating paychecks. This week, I reduced STZ, and picked up KMB, CLX, LMT, and WEC. My hope is that aside from LMT, those others will be able to gouge everyone's eyes out and maintain margin when prices rise. As far as LMT goes, it's been way too peaceful for too long, and it's time to start making ponds in third world countries again.

When you get into it, feel free to DM me. I can probably save you some time/headaches with getting started.

Lockheed has been a long time hold and add in more over time for me. It’ treated me well.

What news is driving DMTK down?

What news is driving DMTK down?
I've noticed it's been pretty quiet in here concerning DMTK. I was wondering the same.

My guess is there is it's just a correction after the excitement. It will probably go right back up after some good news. They are a very young company, so there isn't enough profit to keep people's attention yet. I think it's a winner, but it will take time. I actually think it's one of the few stocks that's still a "buy". But I'm not an expert, this not advice, etc.

What news is driving DMTK down?

Doesn’t seem to be much rhyme or reason to anything the market does anymore!

No news at all. Been a couple months with out any states added. I am still adding, up to 2200 shares. They have a phase 3 on another type of skin cancer due this year and adding a sales force. Still have the patent and still have no competitor...awaiting take off but this market is crazy. I have been taking a beating on all my small cap stocks and all I heard for Jan and Feb was get the small caps for the recovery. Momentum needs to turn at some point.

Apparently there is some news. Analysts lowered the ear ings forecast for DMTK which is driving the price down.

JNJ just bounced, so I'm going to sell some and buy DMTK on the way down.

Where do you see that? Only down grade I have seen was from middle of March from zack’s, that came at same time they got an upgrade from another. I have seen no hint of a 1st quarter earnings which is part of the problem. No news is not always good news.

I decided to throw some gambling money down on Tilray (TLRY) this morning, thinking the hype may be over. I think I set a personal record for bad timing. Had lost 9% by lunch time.

Yebbut, isn't there a merger coming?

Well that was a slam dunk. JNJ seems to have done what it was going to do, and the DMTK shares are already up 4%

Going to get rid of the last little bit of JNJ and put the money toward DMTK and PFE and leave it until May.

Sure, and this is the lesson I keep forgetting. There are no rules with small cap stocks. Tilray is a $3B company. Any @whole with a hedge fund can sink a stock with that small of a market cap. They don't even move $100 million in shares a day, so one whale or a herd or reddit users can trample that damn thing.
